Hi there, I’m Katie!
I’m a mom, a high school teacher, and the proud creator of Katie Scarlet, a jewelry brand born from a desire to create something beautiful, meaningful, and personal.
For years, I dedicated myself fully to teaching and raising my son. I poured my heart into my students and my son, but somewhere along the way, I started to lose sight of me. The “me” that loved creativity, small luxuries, and finding joy in the little things. I realized that while I loved nurturing others, I also needed a space to nurture myself.
That’s when Katie Scarlet was born. I wanted to create jewelry that celebrates life’s little treasures—pieces that are handmade with care, love, and intention here in Louisiana. Each charm, bracelet, and necklace is more than just an accessory; it’s a piece of my story, a reminder that it’s okay to prioritize yourself while loving others wholeheartedly.
This journey has reminded me that creativity, self-expression, and pursuing your passions are not luxuries—they’re necessities. Through Katie Scarlet, I hope to inspire other moms, teachers, and busy women to embrace their own spark and carry a little piece of joy wherever they go.
